The Bobcat ranges from southern Canada to central Mexico, including most of the contiguous United States, and is an adaptable predator that inhabits wooded areas, as well as semi desert, urban edge, forest edge, and swampland environments. With a gray to brown coat, whiskered face, and black-tufted ears, the bobcat resembles the other species of the midsized Lynx genus. It is smaller on average than the Canada lynx, with which it shares parts of its range, but is about twice as large as the domestic cat. It has distinctive black bars on its forelegs and a black-tipped, stubby tail, from which it derives its name.
Arden Creek Designs' striking hand mounted Bobcat is posed strikingly leaping after a Pheasant, creating a dramatic display. Mounted in our studio here in the U.S.A., our craftsmen skillfully produce this majestic piece of natural art that is sure to give you beauty for years to come. We carefully inspect each individual specimen to ensure they meet our standard of quality. Due to the hides being a natural material, there will be some variance in color pattern and size. This is just something we can not control as hard as we may try.
This is truly a stunning mount!
