North American Mounts: General

Fisher On A Branch

Our Fisher Mount undoubtedly will add a distinctive elegance to your room either as a freestanding mount or wall mounted! The taxidermy mount of a Fisher offered by Arden Creek is posed in a standing position upon on a natural piece of local driftwood.

Native to North America, the fisher is a small carnivorous mammal and is a member of the weasel family. A forest dwelling creature, the name derives from aboriginal languages pecan, pequam, wejack and woolang. The fur coat of the fisher varies seasonally, being denser and glossier in the winter and molted during the summer season. The fisher spends the majority of its time on the forest floor, despite being an agile climber.

Our Fisher Mount can either be wall mounted or freestanding, please specify when ordering.

Mounted in our studio in the U.S.A., our craftsmen ensure only the finest quality hides and materials are used to produce this unique mount. Please note that due to being a natural item, no two mounts are the same. We do our best to limit these variations, but it is inevitable.

All of the products handmade at Arden Creek are custom creations by our skilled artisans.
