North American Mounts: General

Chewing Beaver

Our taxidermy mount of a North American Beaver is free standing poised holding onto a natural log it has been chewing. Each pelt is inspected by our highly skilled craftsmen to ensure there are no defects in the skin.

The North American Beaver is a large, primarily nocturnal, semiaquatic rodent native to Canada, much of the United States and parts of northern Mexico. Beavers are known for building dams, canals, and lodges. They do this by using their powerful front teeth to cut trees and other plants. North American Beavers fur colors range anywhere from pale brown fur to black.

All of our taxidermy mounts are handcrafted in our studio here in the U.S.A. using only the finest materials. Because our product is constructed entirely of natural materials, there will be a slight variation in size and color.

This mount of a Beaver chewing on a log is sure to add that extra distinct and unique charm to your décor!

All of the products handmade at Arden Creek are custom creations by our skilled artisans. If you would like to have us build something similar to the one pictured, perhaps with your own custom design idea, simply call or email us to place your order. We love working with designers, architects, interior decorators and homeowners to give their space a touch of rustic elegance.
